In Sabyasachi

On the runway, tucked in with the skirt, this Sabyasachi top had us lusting for it. Kalki, today, wore it very differently pairing the top with blue denims and yellow sandals. Unfortunately, we’re not feeling the same love for this look. Perhaps, if she had opted for black or darker denims, we might have liked it better. Not feeling the matching footwear either.

  2. I think she looks really cute. The blue denims do stand out a little more than required, but I like the choice of footwear. Kalki manages to combine comfy chic with minimalism. I Like!

  3. I bet you guys look even worse than her in person. Stop w all the ass kissing of some regulars on this blog. And interestingly, you guys seem to always lust for Sabya that is ” supposedly average” on other people.

    • Thats mean….where is the matter of looking good/worse here & who asked you to bet on it?? its about fashion and lets stop it RIGHT there…

    • PnP like Sabya, they praise him.You dont like it, then say you dont. Whats with being so personal and condescending? I am sure PnP didn’t give you an invitation, or forced you to come here. You find them biased then you are free to go away from here. Nobody here will miss you…
Apologies if i sound rude but jaisa karoge, vaisa bharoge…

About Kalki, yes that top is intresting, but here on Kalki, it look so usual…I think it has lost is earthy-quirkyness…I am already imagining this on a certain Ms. Dhupia, with a black pencil skirt, high bun and geeky glasses..

  4. actually like her look – blue denims is a tad too bright, agreed – but black might have looked too bumble-bee or taxi-like? maybe grey denims? wish she had other shoes, though……

  6. I will never understand what you guys like and what you don’t. This top is worse than the ones sold on streets for 50 bucks. What is so lustworthy about it.Reminds me of the Aisha Julka era when they would wear cheap tops like these.

  7. Darker denims would have look better. She does look cute in the tunic. I don’t see many designers use this shade of yellow but Sabya is one…love it.

  8. seriously i don’t believe that that outfit is by Sabya, it’s hideous esp the sleeves and skirt, i know how to sew and i swear i’ll never make such a skirt even for my 2 little daughters.
That aside kalki does wear it well and look nice, except for the shoes in that particular shade of yellow

  9. Don’t like the jeans or shoes, but that top is very Kalki. She can pull off a lot of looks just with that smile of hers….she looks very pretty in a girl-next-door kinda way 🙂
