Kalki attended the screening of a movie wearing a polka dot churidaar kurta by Nikhil Thampi. Instead of a traditional dupatta, the kurta featured a train that started around the neck. I wasn’t a fan of the outfit. Did you like?

Color and outfit is lovely on her
Yeah wish shed gone the regular dupatta route vs the superman cape, thats probably capturing a bunch of dust and dirt as it trails behind. Yikes. Aside from that she looks veyy nice in the color and simple silhouette
Kalki is a sight for sore eyes… haven’t seen her in a while.. looks lovely in that color and outfit is elegant!
Nothing great but still refreshing deviation from the usual and that itself kind of made me like it. Simple and clean MINUS the jhadoo (broom) at the back.

Only the train is terrible…. Wish you’d care to mention the rest, very becoming colour, fabric and print. We don’t see chudidaars too often and last but not the least, Kalki looks lovely, so fresh faced and happy!!!

I kinda agreed with you mean here though. Usually she totally is like “one of us” in Indian wear (and even otherwise). Even the she carries the saree is not like someone wearing it for the first time. But in these photos, she looked like a foreigner in Indian wear. The hair, the bindi….- something didn’t work and even her smile didn’t make it work.

Train makes it easy breezy but have issues with it trailing on the ground. Had it been up to the length of the kurta might have worked better ..but Kalki is looking so elegant here
I like the colour, but that cape like look spoils the whole attire..anyways it’s nice to see her on these pages after a while!
