Of the two ladies in gold-toned dresses, we did think Avantika fared a lot better in her dress than Kalki did in hers. The dress was only half the problem, Ms. Koeclin’s hair do didn’t help much either.

Huh? Kalki looks great! Her dress is flattering, fits her well, and is festive without being tacky. I don’t see anything wrong with her hair at all.
Avantika’s dress is better than what she normally wears, but the black detail at the waist is kind of ugly and unnecessary. It’s hard to tell what the gold material is made of, but it looks kind of cheap in pictures.

I think neck up Avantika looks damn cute. but that dress! what the hell is the black detail on the waist there for? hideous I tell you. but isn’t this the Sleeved version of that sleeveless dress she wore sometime back?? the one she wore with the tuxedo blazer and pearls?? and the same shoes??

on the other hand Kalki looks really nice. And the dress is really flattering.
Kalko looks much better regardless of the hair. Avantika looks like she is going to burst out of the dress any minute.
