Kalki attended the Aichi International Women’s Film Festival last week sporting quite a few desi designers at several events. Of the four, our favorite was the Payal Khandwala look followed closely by the Anavila.

The Anavila look wins it for me. Was having such a pleasant visual experience looking at the Nachiket and Gaurav Gupta looks till I glanced waist. The brown boots and the white wedges are plain horror. Sister’s got a split fashion personality thing going on!

The Gaurav Gupta is an eyesore and should be burnt. I have never seen such ill-fitting trousers ever!! For a change, the Payal Khandwala is a lovely outfit.
This is probably the first time that I really liked a Payal Khandwala creation.
It looks great on Kalki. All the other looks are super meh.

Gaurav Gupta and Nachiket Barve are the least flattering of all the looks. The styling on them is atrocious! Love Kalki in Anavila.
Nachiket jacket looks stunning and love the Gaurav jacket; pants are awful and she looks so weird in the sari. Anavila is so overrated; you get such saris at every handloom fair. Payal dress is cockroach colour. Kalki has a split personality; each look has its own personality like costumes
