It was a white skirt-suit by The Circus for Kajol while in attendance a recent Awards night. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with smokey eyes, a Futurology cuff and sparkly clutch and platform pumps.
Between fit issues, the length and fabric, there wasn’t one redeeming quality to the skirt, to the entire look actually; so unflattering! This was a miss for the actor.

Rightly said; there isn’t a single redeeming quality in the entire look. My eyes are doing crazy saccadic movements looking at the various cringe-worthy elements.
Also, the eye make-up: smokey or charred and burnt? Smh.
on a side note… love the award… the shape & the rose in it!

I don’t want to blame Kajol for the failure of this outfit. But, I really really wish certain actors would stop obliging their stylists by wearing just anything that is handed to them. Even if Kajol likes the look or idea of the outfit, I don’t understand how she can’t see or feel for herself that the fit is just totally off?!!

She promotes ads for whiteness so no surprise on her white washing. She looks like Sona Mohapatra and that is definitely not a compliment.
I say this with lot of love. Sona Mohapatra is a beautiful lady and so is Kajol.
Also, You have commented on every , i repeat, every appearance of Kajol . And negative, if that’s what they are. Even when she has looked lovely according to the majority.
Personal opinions are nice. But I see a very clear bias here.

The second last pic has caught her at the worst angle. Methinks you need washboard abs to salvage this skirt, if it can even be salvaged. In this case the voluminous skirt with the loose satiny top, with the voluminous jacket too tight around shoulders…it all adds up to an epic fail. A non cinched-in jacket like this is best paired with skinnies. The satin gold trim is not helping one bit either. All white can look so edgy and graphic. This ain’t it.
The outfit is unflattering on Kajol. This would be a very hard look to pull off by most.
Everyone is entitled to an off day here or there -even Kajol. Can’t be easy being a celebrity and being scrutinized!

Another blog has pointed out a VERY similar look on Kim Kardashian from May 2014… Except her outfit was by Balmain and Lanvin. So who’s being flattered by whose imitation, I wonder… How did you folks not catch that (white) elephant in the room?!
She looks quite scary ..esp in the first pic.. Now that we know what all is wrong with this outfit.. let me say what is right .. that handcuff , the award and the clutch 🙂

I don’t think the issue here is Kajol’s body. It’s that she dresses so unflatteringly for it. She’s beautiful, outgoing and very bold. The personality does not reflect in the styling and the choice of outfits. I think this is the reason why she gets criticized a lot. With her personality, one would at least expect her to look in the mirror, realize when something doesn’t suit her and then verbalize that to her stylist.
