I literally fell off the couch upon seeing Kajol in this Shantanu and Nikhil sari-gown. Firstly, because she was not wearing Manish Malhotra and secondly, because she actually put in some effort into the look with the hair and accessories.
Barring the clutch, which we think was way too much for the look, Kajol did look good. In our books, at least. We give a thumbs up just for surprising us!

fugly dress aside,an interesting effort from Kajol, i would like to see her styled by a stylist.
She is a stunner but the dress is tacky and hideous. What is a sari-gown anyway? Such a beautiful woman, such horrendous taste.
Its just plain super duper ugly. She looks like an Extra from the Chandrakanta set. The cheap shiny fabric makes her hips bulge. absolutely HATE it….

The expectations in terms of style are so low in Kajal’s case that anything not exceedingly WTHeyyy is probably good! If a Dia or a Neha were sporting this mess (let’s throw some silver here, some silver there, no need to really wash the hair -we’re going for an oily, held back, curly look, fade the lips out etc. and so on…) then it would have screamed Tacktastic! I like her smile though, so that’s 1 point form me 🙂

its a gross outfit..on someone else it would have come under WTHhhey . It is unfortunate to see that actresses with dressing potential area always given some brownie points and people who make a genuine effort are branded as trying too hard. seriously, there should be some element of objectivity even if it is kajol…

Looks like she went to a holiday party and some tinsel is hanging on her dress from the party……maybe the dress would have looked better in another color…………as it is in these pics i feel it is a dress for those award show performances with that bling on the waist and blouse…….
