Kajol was felicitated with an award and was seen wearing a white and black silk sari. Per her stylist, the original sari was her mother’s and was repurposed by adding a floral kashmiri-style embroidered border on one side and sequins on the other. Love the sari. On the fence about that sequin blouse.

The blouse and saree look they are mismatched from 2 completely different pieces…
The saree is strictly okay looking more like something a politician would wear. Wear with sentiment, I get but I’m not sure why this was repurposed etc
am all for reviving and re-using sarees but am not sure this plain white fabric is so special as to need a refresh! in fact, i’d have believed that the floral border needed a new life — unless am missing something.
I dont like this look, something seems off. I usually like her saree looks.
And, for goodness sake Kajol, pull the pallu up! It’s taking the look down a couple of notches.
So is Sabya over now? We dont see much of him worn anymore. Am sure come festive season, we will see a few.
