Absolutely lovely. The color suits her so well — she looks radiant. Also, I am liking the fact that she decided to make it slightly less festive and play subtle by skipping on big earrings. Everything balances out so well in this look.

what I really love about the Durga puja sightings of Kajol and Rani is the ease and elegance with which they carry the saree. no unnecessary pins and frills, no frou-frou, no designer cuts and adds, but a classic garment worn not as a costume but as if they’re born to it.

Repeating my earlier comment on Manish Malhotra – The overall look works. Gorgeous color. But pray tell me, how is this designer? These are classic weaves from centuries ago… what and how has MM modified it to call it his own? The simple gold edging, the tacky blouse?? what makes this a designer look when you start with a heritage weave as this banarasi is.
