Wednesday evening celebrations saw Kajol in a green silk sari from Kapardara featuring embroidered lions on the sari, probably picked because of Goddess Durga who rides a lion/tiger. She finished out her outing with jhumkis from Karishma Joolry and green bangles. She looked nice.

This avatar of Ma Durga is Ma Katyaayani, daughter of Rishi Katyaayan and she rides a lion and in third Kalpa where she defeated Mahisasura in four days thus the Durga Pooja celebrations for four days in Bengal.

This was an exquisite look on Kajol. Loved the color, the lion motif so apropos for Navratri. Not sure what is going on with the blouse under right arm, but not many can beat Kajol in a well draped traditional sari.
