Kajol helped inaugurate an exhibition this week where she was seen in a sheer green sari by Anita Dongre. I know the white blouse was supposed to match with the threadwork on the sari but I find the contrast too jarring. Maybe the same green color as the sari might have felt less so?

Yes, I believe so, from the weave pattern and thickness.
no, it’s definitely synthetic, not an original Dhakai cotton at all though the design seems “inspired” by it.
She looks great after eons !! Just today I saw her in the song Suraj hua maddham (k3g) wearing similar all white sari … and how seeing her look better after all these yrs!
In line with the sports bra memo. The white colour makes it more like that.

Has she somehow forgotten how to smile? I’ve been observing her give this awkward, bared-teeth expression for quite some time now. She has a lovely smile, and a smile makes all the difference. Why attempt to look so unflattering, then? And she has years of experience in front of the camera! Surely, cameras cannot faze her now.
She has been known to do a lot worse… for now i will take the white blouse… it is the transparent drape that I have an issue with. Not that anyone much less her should give a damn what i think. Just sayin… Love her bling though!
