In Sabyasachi

At the audio release of Brahmotsavam, Kajal was seen in a Sabyasachi sari that was more on the simpler side. Not that we are complaining, the actor looked lovely in the sari look. She had us at the sari, the bindi and the gajra!

    • True. She looks so weird here. Learn some acting from Revathi and Mahesh while you are working with them. Mahesh blows away all these heroines with his looks and acting. I think you guys need to post a closeup pic of Mahesh from this event.

        • If her acting is fabulous, I really wish her to go to Bollywood and other Industries. Talking about DLKK… Randeep Hooda <3<3<3. I'll update my sentence: "Learn some acting from Revathi, Mahesh and Randeep Hooda while you are working with them".;

          # Spare Tollywood from terrible acting.

          • What’s the full version of DLKK? Have you seen the Randeep Hooda movie called Love Kichdi? I saw it on YouTube. It was really good. 🙂

          • Dia DLKK means Do Lafon Ki Kahani, Randeep’s upcoming movie. I haven’t seen Love Kichdi but I will see it.:) Randeep excels in every role he plays but he is fantastic and so hot in ‘Once upon a time in Mumbaai’. If you haven’t seen it, see it. 🙂

      • True! I think we Indian movie watchers are used to mediocrity that actors as her as passed of as amazing and fantabulous. Miss those days where we did not cringe as soon as these so called actresses came on screen. Is being thing and fair the only criteria for actresses nowadays? Miss the Revathis, Tabus, Suhasinis…

        • Lol completely true kh! Touche. The actresses of Golden Era of Indian Cinema (both South and North) looked so beautiful and ethereal but they were so graceful and exceptionally talented in acting, comedy and dancing. Why can’t we have such visual treat on screen!

    • She’s not at all an overrated actress! In my opinion her acting is fabulous and she makes sure that every character of hers is unique. And i dont think those shoes take anything away from this look, they can hardly be seen 🙂

      • +1. I am not sure about fabulous but she definetly is better than some of the over rated actors in Tamil movies from Kerala. She looks great and has decent acting chops. Cant comment on her acting in Telugu movies though.

  1. She looks lovely! The color looks fab on her.

Payal and Priyanka.. you seem to be up to date with all the Telugu events. What’s the Telugu connection here guys? Being a Telugu girl myself, I am quite delighted and also curious 🙂

    • We started featuring ladies from the South back in 2011 and not just Telugu stars. We’ve featured ladies from Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movies too. We would love to do Bengali too but just can’t seem to get access to event pics. It’s on our wish list. 🙂

(Yes, one of us is Telugu as well. Go to our Instagram accounts and you can quickly fig out which one. 😛 )

    • Priyanka is Telugu. 😀 All the regular readers who have been reading Highheel for ages for sure will know that (even before the Insta time).;)

  2. So damn beautiful this is that it becomes a relishing sight! Those shoes clearly don’t go though but how drop-dead beautiful she looks. She had me at the sari as well. 🙂

  3. I saw Brahmotsavam movie trailers and song teasers, OMG the handsome hunk Mahesh looks drop dead gorgeous that I failed to notice the heroines of this film. His looks, dressing, dancing and everything is so stylish. <3

  4. I can’t help but think ‘bridal’ when looking at these photos but that in no way takes away from the fact that Kajal is resplendent in this look!

  5. I have to say when I saw this I was floored – I love the sari and how she has chosen to style it! Big fan of the entire look…and then I saw the shoes. I know that they can barely be seen in a sari but I wish I had not seen them – lovely shoes in their own right but not here! Isha’s Verdict:My heart is beating – keeps on repeating – I love the sari but not the shoes, not the shoes, not the shoes…(sorry but this song is stuck in my head!)

  7. This look makes me think that she was channeling her inner Deepika Padukone. Not a fan of the hair at all or the middle part but I love the sari itself. And I agree with the commenter above that she’s a highly overrated actress!
