Sari Style- Part Deux
These lovely ladies went the sari route too… And mother-of-the-groom, Yashodhara gets a special mention for keeping it simple and looking great!

jaya bachchan is in a fugly sari. again.
Yashodra looks lovely I especially like her hair Style. I also think Jaya looks good, happy to see a smile on her face.
Yashodara for sure wins this round. Hmm maybe south indian women do wear awesome saris and wear them really well. Case(s) in point: Rekha, Sridevi, Hemamalini, Jaya Prada, Padma Lakshmi and now Yashodara Oberoi. I would have added Vidya Balan but her bad draping is such a put off. 😉
lol. interesting observation….got to agree with u here….hmmm..
Yadhodara oberoi looks lovely ! Love the grey hair too. Thats truly ageing with grace now.
Why did Jaya need a shimmering blouse ? But well atleast she isint scowling for once. How many years has it been since she last smiled.
Has Jaya bacchan fallen for the drape that most young bollywood girls have taken a liking for?? Zarine’s sari is fugly. I like Shobha’s entire look..she looks younger and fitter. As for Yashodhara, I like her sari and necklace.
Shobha looks fantastic, impossible to believe shes practically the same age as Jaya B!
I love Yashodra’s saree……all other arn’t looking that bad according to the occasion
P&P you should also feature Parmeshwar Godrej from Vivek’s reception….she was as usual whatttteeyyy in a westren outfit…..
The lady on extreme right looks the best, but the saree on jaya bachchan is a let-down.
yashodara looks absolutely beautiful
shobhaa deluks magneficient!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
stunning really.
Shobha de wins this for me. elegant and smiling. Jaya Bachchan looks better than usual too. And altho i like Mrs Oberoi neck up, the smile and the hairstyle tres chic. She sure is going the gray way gracefully. But the sari esp the blouse is pretty bad methinks.
This is wht is age appropriate and classy, hats off to mother of the groom
Yashodhara Oberoi looks incredible. Gracefully aged, elegant, wow wow wow. And Shobha De just defies age – gorgeous woman, gorgeous sari. Makes me look forward to getting old!
shobha de and yashodhara look lovely
Yashodara for sure, her bindi is the cincher. I cannot stand the blingy silver bindi that screams tackidom from all four corners. Shoba’s reluctance to let go of youth long gone makes her the runner up, although she has somewhat managed to stay on this boat. Jaya and Zarine, please stick to classics, you will not go wrong.
On the far right saree, does anyone know what material the orange blouse is made of there? I think that lady looks lovely, just wondering about the blouse and border fabric on that saree.
Wow Shobha De looks GORGEOUA!!!
