A “WTHeyyy” and how…

This is strike two for the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla…

  1. Even our family DARJI (tailor) would make a better lehenga than this one…chee chee on Abu Jani…were they sleeping while making this one?

  2. oh no what’s wrong with her …………i don’t believe she’s the same lady who left me mesmerized with the graceful outfits she wore in K3G ( her only ever movie that i watched)

  3. Ohmigod! Had a glimpse at this horror in the background of Ash’s pic and I was like – maybe it is the angle, i mean come on, who would want to look like that with Amitabh, Abhi and Ash looking sooo good??

The designers aren’t the only culprits here- its Jaya Bachchan’s part to decide whether to wear it or not!! And I really wish she had swapped this monstrous thing (can’t call it anything else) for a simple chic saree.

  4. I can actually picture this looking good on the ramp–with a tall, slender model. I have the distinct impression that I saw something like/similar to this this in one of the recent fashion shows.

But on Jaya, yeah not a good look.

  5. This is a disaster-her body tyupe cant carry this look off at all.The best thing for Jaya is to stick to graceful and flattering sarees.

  7. Honestly can’t believe Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla who have dressed Judi Dench for the Oscars multiple times would do this.

  8. This is sad. She is probably thinking now why did I agree to do this. It is clear she is not comfortable or happy being on the red carpet. And yes, Sari would have worked much better and boosted her confidence level. But I would not be harsh to her at all.

Humble request to Aishwarya-please take care of Ma-In-Law, be honest n give sincere remarks next time n not play “Im-so-sweet,I can’t say nything bad”!!!(I’m sure she knew what Ms.Jaya wud b wearing)

  10. I’m sad to see Jaya in this state, she has definitely not aged well. She had a unique, simple beauty in her young days and she was never much for fashion. That being said I put the blame on the designers. If they can dress older actresses like Dimple with style and elegance, surely they can do the same for Jaya.

  11. its not so much the designer’s fault. i mean okay.. partly its a crappy outfit. but she’s old and short and dumpy. its made for a taller sleeker woman…
