While at a magazine’s latest cover launch/unveiling, its cover girl Janhvi was photographed in a Shivan and Narresh jumpsuit. The fit issue really makes it hard to give this look a pass. We weren’t fans but, can you look past it and like what you see?

Nothing is gelling together in this look, why do they wear such clothes, looks so uncomfortable to look at it, let alone wear it. These actresses say that they choose comfortable over everything, that’s hardly ever the case. What’s with those frills on the side? Are they stitched to make one have an injury or what? Those tacky purple nails as well.
Everything is wrong… the ruffles, the stretchy material, visible pockets…and of course the fit. She is stepping on her ruffles…hope she didn’t have a fall.
This is bad on so many levels !
It looks painful, the fit issues on the top, and even the pants. Dont they do trials? atleast once? Fit carries the most weight-age in a look… cant look past that!
Oh no..such a horrible jumpsuit. Why cups are designed so small? I wonder whether they(cups) will fit even a girl with bust size 28. No, actually they won’t fit even fit a girl with small busts as they are made too apart. Plus, at thighs n hips too, the jumpsuit is tight.
How could she have given an ok for such an ill-fitting outfit? It is bad at so many levels!

As much as the fit is wrong, the frills on the side are constantly under her shoes.
Don’t Sivan and Naresh make suits in various sizes? Or does the stylist not know the size of the star he/she is responsible for.
This is just painful to look at.
The design of the jumpsuit doesn’t work either. If they added frills to the sides of the pants then the top should have been more sleek with straight lines to balance the whole look. The horror of see through pockets on white pants.
The fitting, most certainly, is an issue, but I love straight hair on her. She looks pretty here.
The only time her looks are bearable is when she is dressed in suits off duty.
Otherwise the western stuff / indo western she wears is very cringe worthy.

What’s that design? Fish with fins? and the cups are cutting so badly into her flesh.
Why are they doing this to her? I really feel bad for Jhanvi.
Just a thought : maybe this isn’t a “fit issue” according to Jhanvi and co.. Maybe they really do intend for the fit at the bust to be several sizes smaller.
There are so many such sightings off late, it seems unlikely to be an oversight. Probably (though I hope I’m wrong) this is the new ‘look’!
I think the current crop of starlets are being fed with bare dressing as the up style, no other reason why they give in.
I have read about big brands / designers being (abusively) pushy on models and maybe even actresses to wear their creations as is or lose out.
The trend is to copy the West dictated trends where the bustier top was one of the trends recently….not sure why aping trends from the West is such a big deal…that’s why I appreciate Taapsee/Kangana/Dia M/ Karisma …atleast not slaves to the Western trend mentality…why can’t stylists get more options…if brands need visibility from a star kid or celebrity, doesn’t the star kid or celebrity and stylist have more say and be given more options to shop from a particular season of clothes…unless it’s a mutual understanding….would love a clarification on the ‘thought process’ of selecting the clothes….
Funny how 20+ year olds start off dressing mature then once their movies do some business go back to the show-off-my-figure to stay relevant dressing and in their 30s, continue the torture…
Ouch! And we can recognize discomfort when we see it- she’s clearly uncomfortable.
Not just the clothes, the shoes too are a size too small. Now that I have noticed the toe overhang, cant un-see it. I wonder if you realize last minute that the outfit is too small, cant you just wear your own T + jeans + a nice jacket for an event like this? Are there no backups?
This is so bad so bad. I wonder how much freedom these young’uns have over their fashion choices? She can also see (and feel) the bust issue and the visible pockets and the cheap white-ness of this dress.

It was such shame that he got eliminated in the print challenge!! That’s the one thing they’re known for!!
