Wearing a Manish Malhotra sari, Janhvi attended a Diwali do over the weekend. She looked nice. That said, would you have rather seen her finish out the look with a necklace or like the look as is?

This look ages her. The color is striking but the makeup seems heavy handed and yes, a necklace would have completed the look.

Let’s not do this. These are real people, and perhaps they read these comments. Young women already struggle with so many body image issues, and to top it, being the child of one of the loveliest Indian actors ever must be a burden, as much as it’s an honour. She doesn’t need to be pitted against her own sister too. Let’s comment on the fashion, not the person.

I agree, the color is vibrant and festive. A necklace would make it too cluttered IMO. I like the look as is, she looks stunning!

She’s looking really good, but I agree the make needed to be much natural to not make the heavily lemony look so loud. Would’ve been a soft light festive look with better or least make up.
Usually I love yellow, but this looks feels like too much of yellow, maybe its me.
Was truly hoping we were done with this fabric with a blingy border aka MM sarees. Why can’t these starlets pick a Rimzim Dadu or Anavila M or Suta Bombay to wear? This color looks so good on Jahnvi that I can easily see her carrying the citrine saree Dia wore a couple of days back.
I agree, a necklace would have been good, and lighter makeup. She’s so young, and naturally pretty. This whole look is for an older person, I think.
Its an amazing color and looks great on her. She just needs to tone down the makeup. Her age and looks really don’t need the warpaint!

I think it’s great that she’s covered up & not in a skimpy blouse & kept it as simple as she could . Necklace would be too much .

She’s a young girl and if she’d added a necklace in this instance, this look would get overly mature for her. It’s nice as it is, she looks great.
