Janhvi attended promotions for her upcoming movie wearing a custom sari from Torani featuring a phool dupatta inspired palla. While phool chadar/dupattas have been around for a while, young’uns will probably immediately remember Radhika’s haldi look immediately seeing this sari.
Coming back to Janhvi, given that she plays a girl from Kerala (going by the first teaser) am guessing we will see her in saris throughout this promotional round. As for the sari, am guessing that is all plastic flowers than real, so not really loving it.

I liked the saree and the 3D florals. But I utterly dislike the overage of cleavage display with the severely uplifting way of wearing the choli (as Jhanvi always does). It’s like …..we get it, you have em. Just don’t do this in your face boobage every time. It’s pulling down the look everytime
Just so unoriginal and tasteless as always.
Something about her is always off-putting. I want to like her, her fashion choices, her movies/ acting, but her personality falls flat.

hate it. jahnvi’s done this same look so many times, just changing up the saree with a floral pallu or whatever makes it non-distinguishable from the 100,022 times she’s worn a saree exactly like this. even she looks tired of it.
i’ve never seen her on screen (never wanted to, nothing about her photos arouses the slightest curiosity) but i hope she can act. not that it’s a pre-requisite for a bollywood career
Looks like the sari will suit a haldi event more than such move appearances.
Also the hair color doesn’t suit her.
So tired of North indians playing south indians. Like why.
That isn’t even a comment on her outfit.
And, two exhibits:
1. Her mom was a Telugu speaking Andhra woman. This girl is from Bombay but she is half southie herself.
2. We don’t say that when Rekha plays a Lucknowi tavayaif, or Hema Malini plays Razia Sultan, or Aishwarya (a Bunt) plays a Gujrati or Pahadi girl, or when Sridevi (Telugu) plays a Delhi girl Chandni, or when Kajol (with Bong/ Maharashtrian family) plays a Chandni Chowk girl.
Come on!
The drape was so sloppy. With the inskirt showing… Seeing her everywhere will tire the audience before the release.
