Need help from fellow HHC’ers based in India – I make a 2 week trip every 2 years which is filled with family meetings and events. I haven’t had the chance to explore the newer retail stores yet. What are the best not-crazy-expensive stores to shop at for (US) XL-sized simple, daily suits like these? Thanks in advance!

Biba, W, Aurelia n Soch are some stores where you can find some nice kurtas for your daily needs.
Imara has some nice collections. They retail in shoppers stop
Anokhi has the best prints and colourways, I think. Also stores like Cottons Jaipur (they have lovely block-print fabric bags too), FabIndia, Crow, Indigene, Kilol, Injiri. Happy shopping!

I am not sure when I will get the hype around her but this is the most common piece of salwar suit print aka uniform we had in the 90s…she looks average and one of us… Not sure what are we hyping on about? And you find a “displaced” necklace something to nitpick about…whaaa?
