In Twos
Janhvi kicked off promotions for her upcoming movie by giving us two back to back blue looks, first in a David Koma dress and then in a corset top and distressed denims. The Koma in itself is a nice dress and with a nice clean updo and an appropriate event to match might have popped. As is, it just looked meh. As for the corset one, am surprised her stylist put her in this one given her other client sported a similar corset just a few days back.

Anne Hathaway looked so good in the Komi dress.. on Janhvi it looks like just another dress from shein.
just saw anne.. jhanvi’s looks more snug and seamless.. seems to fit better actually
She does look smoking in the blue dress!
I too think she looks smoking in the blue dress
Dressing multiple clients in almost identical outfits, shows that stylists are just trying to fit these actresses in popular cookie cutter molds.. instead of trying to customize looks according to the clients’ personalities. No wonder all the young actresses look identical to each other most of the time
Looks like a patch torn off exposing bra, doesn’t add anything. Assuming the full blue would’ve looked better.
all her clothing choices always seem a bit desperate.
Did Kiara and her swap clothes after Kiara’s outing? Almost ditto outfit.
The styling of the dress comes off as off. Needed more edgy here.
I really liked the David Koma dress. Except for the stark black contrast. A different color and it would have been more impactful.
Also the slit could have been a tad narrower for a better impact. Nevertheless she wears it well.
The corset one is awful. Especially pairing it with a distressed jeans.
I think Jhanvi looks really good in both these looks. Hair, makeup and styling choices all work well together. Much more flattering than the slightly too ‘mature’ looks she’s been seen in lately, imo.
I have a question.. These young girls are so much more than skin show, hair and makeup. Is there no way stylists can dress them to showcase their personality, maybe showcase some brand they believe in because its organic, plastic neutral, pays fair wages, is made in India.. whatever be the belief? Rather than using these youngsters as props for cheap clothes and influencing the youth towards blind consumerism and becoming dumbed down versions of themselves? Sorry, rant over.. I truly feel sorry for these 20 somethings.. They’re not objects and shouldnt be treated as such
That’s a lot of good expectations. Everyone is doing their bit of job not really into larger impact. But wow, if only it was so well thought
Edward Scissorhands decided to take a go at that Koma outfit.
She looks great in both the dresses..
I like her in both dresses and blue one infact better than Anne Hathaway..Anne looks much starved thin and Jhanvi is filling the dress better. However I did not like 2nd pose and i feel she herself is bit uncomfortable and hiding herself at thigh slit
