Keeping It Casual

For a recent spot of travel, Janhvi teamed her tie-dye joggers with a colorful graphic tee and a leather jacket. For Sonal, it was a tie-dye sweatshirt that she teamed her sporty shorts with. Both ladies rounded out their looks with roomy bags, a Goyard for the former and Hermes for the latter. For a day of running errands, which look would you pick?

  1. So over tie-dye. It’s what you do when you’re in Middle School and run out of things to do in summer. Or if you go to Austin and want to look like a tourist wearing a “Keep Austin Weird” tee. They’re an eye-sore and look silly being worn ALL THE TIME now.

    • Correct! even insta influencers have them. But i think Jhanvi’s Goyard is her moms.
A lot of her handbags are her mom’s, we have her mom here with them.

  2. Tired of these stupid trends. If they really want to wear, why not purchase from our local artisans ( NOT designers)? Why not initiate a trend and make it popular – like a Mangalagiri, Pochampally, Kantha, Phulkari, what not…. think of a fabric and India has them in lovely designs, prints and textures. Vocal for local does not apply to these folks is it?

  3. Goyard or Hermès for running errands?! Ha ha…even IF I had the moolah to invest in one of these “bagwatis”, I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on the errand while carrying them :/
Coming to the rest of their outfits, I don’t even know where to start with describing what’s wrong with them, so I’ll save my energy.

  4. Hahahahaha! That leather jacket for running errands would mean I would be dead by the time I am done.
But seriously, those bags for errands? Sigh.
The tie and dye I have stopped caring for!
