The Kapoor family minus Khushi attended the opening ceremony of IFFI in Goa on Monday where Janhvi was seen wearing an Anamika Khanna lehenga, one that she wore well. Keeping the styling simple helped.
Having said that though, I always get this she-is-still-a-kid vibe from Ms. Kapoor and every outfit of her feels like she is playing dress up.
Still waiting for her to look more effortless. Just me who feels that way?

Well she actually is a kid, albeit one breaking into the world of fame and glamour. I suppose the casual effortlessness will come with time.
Also, how gorgeous is the lehenga, especially the work on the skirt!
When I look at Jahanvi I get the she’s playing dress up vibe too and that’s because in reality she is still a kid.
Are you guys ignoring Deepika’s latest outings on purpose or deliberately delaying her posts? I have checked your page nearly 10 times in the last 2 days just to see your take on her looks. I have had felt this quite a few times earlier too.

How cool is this lehenga!! Such nice colors! I’m loving her hair here! I agree she is still a kid but seems so youthful 🙂 I’m sure we will see her much more here in the coming months thus I’m going to accept the age for starting to work in movies as the main lead, public appearances and a whole celebrity profile starts at a much younger age now!

For a kid she doesn’t dress like her age , which is why it doesn’t look effortless . She needs to look more youthful and dress age appropriate like Sara Ali Khan .
True…Sara comes across as elegant n so effortless
Also she needs to stop borrowing her mon’s designer bags & shoes .
And lets face it: as much as we are opining here on style alone; real work and real life experiences build personality which is a muted (but strong) component of overall style or perceived look.

She should hire Aaliya’s stylist . Aaliya mostly dresses age appropriate.
She seems to be a shy person by nature and suddenly of recent she has been in the lime light as a build up to her debut on silver screen. Therefore her confidence and how she reciprocates all the media attention will come to her in time. But having said that she does need to bring down her styling to appeal to more youthful audience of her age. Some of her looks are more mature for her age or ” forced on” so naturally she is unable to carry that with the required ease , that’s not to say she doesnt look beautiful. Its also my own personal opinion and observation that everyone is suddenly rushing to dress/glam her up with their respective high end labels or clothes line. I think Janvi really needs to look at her own individuality and choice when it comes to styling rather than becoming a bill board of sorts which again in my view was what happened to Sonam Kapoor. If she wants to be a credible actor, she needs to concentrate on that which I think Sara ali Khan has got a handle on already. But it may just be a contest of who can afford what as well !

Jhanvi looks love in that gorgeous lehenga. This is a learning phase for her so that ‘effortless’ look will show later. But with a gorgeous mum who has such a great sense of style, it’s going to be sooner than later.
Agree completely. But her legendary Mom has been in the industry from age 4. So for her to catch up its gonna take a while . She is still anyway a teen. Hopefully she will find her own style & nail the looks.
