Giving us another Gaurav Gupta sighting was Tamil actor Janani Iyer in a blue sari. You’ll remember seeing a coral version of it on Pia Trivedi here.
She looked nice but I find the clutch too big and distracting even though it’s a neutral color.

It’s all so messy on her, the pleats and the pallu. It looks more of a blue toga gone wrong. She is really really petite and probably should have worn a regular sari.

What a delicate beauty! Yes, the clutch is all wrong. I wish she had gone for a more sophisticated hair do and some modern Jewellery like a cuff.
Agree with everyone here, the sari caught my eye. i like it! it’s nice. but that clutch is an eye sore! I want to snatch it out of her hand and throw it 9 yards away!
Dint like the saari much.. In the time when whacky print saarees are trending, this one seems neither eye catchy nor something different
Her sari is good, but the clutch can probably bridge the Ganges.
