In Ada & Vic

Wearing a mint colored Ada & Vic dress, Jacqueline promoted her movie on the sets of a television show. A Bulgari watch and strappy Aquazzuras were her accessories of choice during filming. The frothy pastel dress isn’t my cup of tea but one that Ms. Fernandez wears well.

    • There’s nothing wrong with women (over or below 20) wearing flared skater dresses. The snug body and short flouncy hemline create the illusion of a little waist and long legs and they look oh sooo adorable. I think Jackie looks cute here.

      • +1 Parul & Shruti.
From that perspective, all designers in Bollywood industry should stop designing such dresses altogether since all bollywood women are 20+ (alia included). Seriously, give these antiquated rules (?) rather, stereotypes some rest.
Plus, Jackie has an enviable body and skin. Why not flaunt it? She wears everything from thigh high slit skirts and gowns, short & body con dresses, ethnic and traditional wear to such flared dresses as well. She experiments. And oh, she OWNS all of them, what is the problem then?

    • I’m 30 and I just bought a red+pink Kate spade dress with a poufy skirt AND a small bow at the back. It gives me a tiny waist and going to rock it at a wedding! So yeah..

    • Women of all ages should wear what they want to without being body shamed or told what’s good for them. And women of all ages should support fellow women’s choices regardless of whether they would make those for themselves. I don’t particularly like this outfit but think making arbitrary rules for women based on age is ridiculous!

  1. why are film promotions covered so widely on this blog? as opposed to theatre scenes or even motion pictures instead? the film promotions is just the same person with the same stylist being seen before various backdrops? so ho hum.
