Jacqueline attended the Colors Golden Petal Awards on Wednesday evening wearing a Gauri and Nainika ruffled gown. I will be the first one to admit that between the pattern and the design, I really wasn’t a fan of this gown when I saw it in a different color on the runway.
But, I will also be the first one to admit, that I am loving Ms. Fernandez here in this version. A lot of it has to do with the finishing touches. The cute floral Choo sandals, the whimsical wrap bracelets and the clean updo really complemented the gown well. She looked great!

Interesting choice of jewellery.
After the outing of previous award shows, this almost feels like Ms. Fernandez is sobering up & getting serious about her looks.
I have to give it to her — no one else could’ve carried off that gown like she does, though the bust area does look awkward
The side of the gown looks like it got caught inside the undies.
She is looking very very gorgeous! She totally nailed it.
I am in love with this look! Really shows how you can elevate a simple outfit with the right accessories

The fabric of the gown looks like that of a curtain – still looks tacky. And what’s with this ‘I’m a princess, look at me’ look :/
The fit on the upper body does not sit too well and the frill from the hip area front and especially at the back is a bit too large and exaggerated. Not in proportion with the line of flow. Love the fabric. A few tweaks to the design and fit and it would have worked.
