At The Races

Jacqueline was the guest of honor at the HM Mehta Million Cup and for the race wore a Gucci dress with a Delna Poonawala hat. As great as she looked ankle up, I find the black sandals a rather odd choice.

Just me?

  1. That hat is horrid- neither does it go with the halter outfit at all, nor does it suit her face. She’d have looked much better going with a smaller brimmed hat, like a cloche, to suit her very “American pin-up” (meant as a compliment, of course) face. A fascinator would’ve looked great too.

  2. And that’s how you wear a hat without looking gimmicky. Black is definitely the right colour for the sandals but not sure about the peep toes. Not a deal breaker.

  3. her face does not look “tired”. the only thing is that it is not slathered a dozen layers deep in foundations, primers, powders and what not – which is what you are so used to seeing from all other celebs, that when you see one with barely any makeup you automatically assume she looks “tired”. namrata shirodkar clearly does not want to be part of the makeup and fashion ratrace so i dont think her looks need be up for criticism
