In Giorgio Armani

This awards season, Ms. Fernandez has been going the unconventional gowns route and at the Star Screen Awards we saw yet another one. With its pleated origami style bust and velvet skirt, this Fall 2014 Giorgio Armani gown was as off-the-beaten-path as it could be.

Keeping the look non-fussy was a good move, any more jewellery or bling and we might have had ourselves a WTHeyyy. As you’ve probably inferred already, am not a fan of the gown.

I have a feeling, most of you will feel the same way too it too. Vote away and let us know what you think.

  1. Top part I don’t mind but that skirt is so ugly on her and overall even the makeup isn’t great. Just because it’s Armani doesn’t mean it’s fab

  2. Hmmm. I think the gown is trying to a statement, but there isn’t enough going on to make it a statement. I think the velvet portion is to blame. Would May have worked if the bust and the skirt were two different colours.

  3. Whatever happened to her. Somehow I feel ever since she started acting in Roy her outings have become weird. She used to have this spunk.

  4. I think a dress should be judged by how it looks on the wearer. It does not matter if it would not suit the masses or be their choice, or one you would never wear. However, if it looks good in a photo on HHC its a success, albeit its Jackie who makes it work. But then every unique dress has an ideal woman for it. THis dress is beautifully constructed, looks cool, not sexy but funky, playful – love it

  5. Before we all complain, let’s take a moment to appreciate the handiwork of the person who sharpened that black crayon and saved the shaved pieces to use in a dress. Genius.
