Wearing a batik sari, Jacqueline attended a press meet hosted by the Sri Lanka Tourism board. While I appreciate her for sporting her country’s local kandyan drape via the pre-stitched sari, can’t say I like those arm sleeves or the satin corset.

She looks like salmon fillets
Argh, the beauty of Kandy style is the frills along the waist line, which is totally lost here due to added frills/whatever on the sleeves. Also wish she didnt cover the pallu part with hair
I agree: the sari’s print and colours are bright and bold enough to make a statement by themselves, the frilly sleeves and shiny corset are unnecessary and ruin the look.
She looks like some exotic bird thats molting.
Full marks for figuring out it’s a sari.
Why did she have to ruin a tradiional sari from Srilanka by wearing that shiny corset and the ruffled sleeves . And that heavy make up?
