In Sabyasachi

In a Sabyasachi sari, Samantha attended the recent award night held in Chennai. Big earrings, good ol’ ice on the ever important finger and a bindi is all that took to finish out the look. She looked sweet! (We’ll just pretend we don’t see the belly button bling. sigh)

      • The comment was my dry sense of humor which probably didn’t come across well. But I figured with the Cannes overdose of Sabya designs of late, this one wouldn’t go down too well with our readers. Personally I adore Sabya designs and dress up like Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee when a desi avatar is needed. Oh and I have a slight crush on him as well after watching Band, Baaja, Bride!

      • That was my dry sense of humor which didn’t communicate too well. What I was trying to convey was with the overdose of Sabya designs during Cannes may leave some Readers rather “tired” and perhaps result in unfavorable results when this is a perfectly cute saree . By the way…I love Sabyasachi designs and when called to don a desi avatar I dress up much like Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan. Additionally, after watching Band, Baaja, Bride I have a crush on Sabyasachi as well!

  1. I don’t get it…why does the pretty subtle belly button ring get a sigh
I think it’s cute. Sorry to say but a tad judgmental, no?

  2. I agree, no more Sabyas for a while, please! She looks sweet, but I do not like the patchwork border, looks like they ran out of one design and put another.
