Of Separates
Ileana attended a store launch wearing a Pankaj and Nidhi applique jacket with white pants. While I love both the top and bottom, something about wearing them together feels dated. That combined with the hair do and it feels like the look belongs on someone much much older.
The last element not working for me, the pointed tan pumps. They stick out like a sore thumb.

God knows why this one reminds me of simi garewal…shoes — totally downer..
Yeah, it reminded me of her too.
Simi Garewal popped into my head too as soon as I saw this…
Too mature for Ileana
Hahaha I was going to comment the same thing..totally looks like something simi garewal would wear! But the look as a whole is not bad
+1
I like the outfit minus the pointy shoes. The hair and makeup are making her look older though, giving off an aging socialite vibe.
She looks like a color muted clown.
She looks good man!….the shoes aside though. Also wish the pants were a little fitted.
She looks fantastic
Spot on about the shoes, ladies. The rest isn’t half bad IMHO
Nice top. At least she looks cool and summery.
Gosh…this is Simi…a younger version!
This look had potential, but as is typical in Ileana’s case a few elements tend to age her. The ill-fitting pants, hair, earrings and make-up add 20+ years. Simi Garewal is what popped into my head. The shoes are the least of her worries here. Its a shame given how pretty she can look.
Rant alert: The hemming of the trousers could not be more off 🙁 I fail to understand this – why don’t Indian designers pay more attention to important details related to customizing an outfit for the customer? There’s been so many instances in HHC where celebrities have shown up in designer clothes with alterations that stick out like a sore thumb and ruining a look. Even my neighborhood darzi can stitch better than that.
I love it. I think the loser fit gives it a casual summery vibe (like someone said above).
She looks lovely waist up…Waist below is a different story…
I love that top, such a beautiful color!
