Opting for a sari was Huma at the Mumbai Film Festival opening night wearing a black one by Anavila with silver jewellery. Call it our bias for saris in general, because we love a sari sighting, but we really liked her here. It’s a look we’d wear in an instant!
Having said that though, wish the pallu wasn’t worn so narrow. A casual drape would’ve felt more effortless.

Doesnt feel like a saree… and that too an Anavila for one! That weird drape and pose does not suit the Anavila !
While its lovely to see her in a saree, I wish the drape and the stance was better. That said, she looks beautiful.

wish she had followed the styling on the model, who had on a more interesting blouse and casually draped the sari. I guess they did a narrow pallu to show some skin but it makes the top and bottom half look disproportionate.
A sloppy drape and the weird posing bring the look down heavily. Love the sari, jewelry and makeup though! 🙂

The drape (around the pleats) is a bit sloppy, but she looks really good. Love the jewels.
