An Indian “Seal” To Heidi’s Vows

Comment image 21

Heidi Klum and Seal decided to go “Indian” for their third wedding anniversary vows that they held in Mexico. Heidi wore a red lehenga and Seal wore a blue sherwani.

This kid is now wondering, whether they wore designer creations or picked up stuff randomly from a Jersey store! (My fingers are crossed hoping it is designer! 😉 )

  2. I wanted to know who helps these people drape sarees, stitch blouses etc. Coz even my grandmom doesn’t wear such conservative blouse necks.
But gotta say, this lot were lucky to wear the saree right – remember the Serena Williams saree debacle?
Methinks the only firangs who look good in saree till date are Anna Kournikova and, of course, Ms Hurley.
Wish I could say the third was Heidi but her hair and that blouse don’t really work for me.

  3. Yikes! Although I really like Heidi, the fashion here is a sheer ‘WTheyy’! Where did they get these stuff from ? Only Seal looks good here in his sherwani.

  4. Great color but still doesn’t work for Heidi. Seal takes this round. But seems like…even his attire got a satin inside shirt?

  7. EWWW it looks so tacky!!!
no offence but i agree these outfits have been picked from over priced stores in america…the cheap looking stiching and the cut and drapery suggests the poor quality of the design and material

and ofcourse the sari’s colour doesn’t work on her or the guests

  8. Naaah, not working for me. yeah, the blouse looks funny and she has the body to carry more of the new styles (spagethi straps, halter, almost backless maybe with a brooch ).

  9. I agree with Hare Krishna comment. I think among the non-desis only Liz Hurley carries off the saree well.
On a different note – I don’t care whether they picked them from a jersey store or a designer – as long as it looks good and is well constructed is my sole criteria just like in wines the only test that matters is the yuck test and the blind tastings.

  10. Western women just cant carry off saris. They dont have the apsara hips and chest to make draped clothes look ok.

    These clothes look so EDISON!

  11. These clothes look more “Picked up from back up dancers of bollywood” than anything else.
I have seen quiet a few skinny american women pull off sarees, lehengas and other indian outfits in my cousin’s weddings. This is just something they threw together and think Indian outfit means, gaudy colors and too much in your eye. c
