Halle attended a dinner hosted by Chopard at Cannes on Monday evening wearing a strapless corset gown from Gaurav Gupta paired with matching colored sandals. I am a bit tired of these corset bodice designs but the skirt portion more than made up for it. She looked good!

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and someone on HHC pointed it out too – Gaurav Gupta’s designs look truly otherworldly on folks of African heritage. The sculptural silhouettes and the color choices passed on to stylists are beautifully considered.
I like the gown, specially the color. This hair style does not look good on her. It makes her face too square
Fab gown but what are these oh-gee-I-have-to-pee-right-this-sec poses? Uff.
Maybe this is the gown she was originally going to wear to opening night? Who knows..
