In Rimple & Harpreet Narula

Day two of IIFA Festivities saw Genelia in a Rimple & Harpreet flared dress. To say that the look felt disconnected would be an understatement. Any which way you start looking at it, from the top to the bottom or vice versa, we just couldn’t see how anyone thought this look would turn out to be a cohesive one.

The hairdo, the red lips, the purple sandals: they all clashed with the blue dress.

  1. Hell no, she looks good! Blue and purple is quite a popular combination and it’s working for her. The only thing I don’t care for is the earrings. She hasn’t looked this youthful/playful in a long time!

  2. I love this! That’s is how the younger actresses should dress. Those Heels are drool-worthy and I can anyday imaging P&P saying the same had they been worn by some other celebrity. This look is incoherent only on paper.. here it looks lovely.

If anything, I feel Genelia’s face looks too powdery and cakey. She can anyday own it with a fresh face and that infectious smile. 🙂

  3. I actually think she looks good. The lips and shoes match. And the shoes look super good even with this dress ! In the middle photo, she looks exactly like Asin.

  4. The dress is beautiful, the shoes are gorge! But separately! Also strange choice of earrings, lip colour and green ring! Ashy make up not helping! Also what is with the clingy-vine poses with husband ALWAYS?!

  5. It’s an incoherent look.. Lips, earrings, shoes all not working at all.. A delicate pair of golden shoes and light pink lip color would have worked in my opinion..

  6. The shoes are to die for and blue and purple is quite a classic combination. I just think this time though the shoes seem too heavy for the dress. I mean they could be a little more..well like the classic Jimmy Choos that Katrina always wears..just saying!

Both the dress and the shoes are two very strong statement pieces and should be worn independently..The shoes would look great on a white, grey or teal dress. And there are issues with the makeup!

  7. The makeup is totally off? Is it only me , but I find the shade of her foundation to be completely off. Kinda like her dress though
