In Manish Malhotra

If Genelia had worn the sari better and with a solid black blouse, I might have liked it but as is, it’s not working. Very sloppy.

  2. Have to say.. it’s beautiful to see her in a sari though! I think she looks good! Not the best choice, but the blouse is bringing a certain aliveness to the outfit.

  3. The saree is really pretty minus the bottom of it and the stiff fall, but it can definitely be rocked with a nice black blouse. Ooh, how I wish Sri Devi would wear it, she makes everything work.

  4. Hmmm I wouldn’t really call this ‘sloppy’, but yeah, she could have worn the sari better. BUT, me likes. She looks cute, fresh, fun and happy. And I’m especially liking the blouse pairing with the sari…A boring black blouse would have only emphasized the ‘Manish Malhotra’ness of the sari.

  6. Well I dont like her much and I’m not a fan of her dressing sense either.
    I dislike the blouse.
the saree is very pretty, but she kills it.

  7. Great smile and vibe. I love that she always looks young, fresh and like she’s having fun.
Not a fan of the treatment she’s given her bangs though. Bangs take maintenance, you need to style them right or else they throw your look off kilter.

  8. Love the saree and the bouse and the whole look.. as on the drape… a lot of celebs in here have been seen with this kind of a “sloppy” drape and am wondering if some of them (esp those wearing them low also) are wearing those Ready to wear sarees… the flare at the bottom but perfect pleats at the top suggest they didnt get their ironing right at the bottom of the pleats…. its convenient see to wear such “draped” sarees…..

  9. Agreed she is not carrying the sari the way its supposed to be carried. and the blouse is very off. it just seems to have been randomly paired with the sari.

  10. agreed, the problem is the blouse..its brightness clashes with the sari’s…..black blouse definitely would have brouhgt out the sari

  11. she looks so beautiful, well she could have done better, but she isn’t really the best dresser so I think she has done quite well. The hair, the saree and even the blouse looks good together. Oh yeah, I forgot the smile and the pose. At least she isn’t like PC posing the same way all the time 😛

  12. the blouse makes the sari fun
    love it on her

and while the sari isn’t perfectly tied, i wouldnt call it sloppy
i’ve seen far worse draping praised here

  13. not at all elegant…the hair goes well with a western outfit but not a saree.. maybe a small bindi n few pretty bangles would’ve worked.. not many people in b’wood can make a saree look classy ………….

  14. The blouse reminds me of disco lights. Turn it off please. Saree may look good with a low key blouse since the border has so much chamak chamak.
