For a recent appearance, Genelia kept it simple in a white sheath, black ankle-straps and an Eina Ahluwalia cuff.
Though on paper it checks all boxes, something about the look seems rather lackluster. Was it the hair perhaps? Or the dress with its lining that ends a few inches above the hemline? Can’t quite put my finger on it.

I think you are talking about the bunching of the dress in the midriff area, makes her look like she has a paunch or a bump.

ya it is the makeup! The rest is fine. She really needed some color on her lips! Everything is in nude shade! Her lips should have matched that purse!

A side braid/low pony tail with red/hot pink lips n light eye make up would have made the look pop.
