Gen Next: Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2011
Like many others, we look forward to the Gen Next show with a lot of excitement and anticipation because you see new blood and with them, new possibilities.
The winter festive Gen Next edition of LFW 2011 showcased eight designers. Instant favorites were Urmi Ghosh for her playful designs and Teresa and Roger for the burst of colors.
Siddharth Aryan‘s collection also was noteworthy for its OTT designs but lacked cohesiveness. We did love the jumpsuit look though.
Farah Sanjana‘s Collars Galorez, rather aptly titled, brought focus to an area that not many of us pay attention to.

Like siddharth Aryans the most
wow, I love the designs these guys brought forward….interesting!!! yes, my vote too goes to Urmi Ghosh for obvious reason….loved how Theresa and Roger played with the patterns and colors…. delicious!
From Farah Sanjana I love the layered vest and the detailed shirt, wish the styling was kept bit minimal for the real detail of the garments to come out..
Shashank Raj and Prajwal Badwe- sorry but trashy.
Thinles Chosdup & Nirajara Adhya- The layered vest and the cardigan works!
Mohammed Javed Khan -Interseting
Nikhil Thampi- sth surely is nice bt nt all of it.
Urmi Ghosh- Some good detailis but overall doesnt work..
Teresa & Roger- Maybe but not very my taste.
Siddharth Aryan- Something here there could be removed or added.
But I love the collection anyway.. Super work!!
Farah Sanjana’s tan and white pants seem like a copy of Prabal Gurungs pants from one of his first collections.
guys i own a jacket from nikhil thampi n trust me people love it. its so fresh so fabulous
