In Monisha Jaising

At an event at her store, Gauri was seen in a white Monisha Jaising sari gown. Now, we don’t have a full-length of her but from what we see we do love the white outfit on her. Just wish she’d worn her hair in a soft bun. Would’ve made for a nice finishing touch.

    • Second that. I was going to say I always think a genuine smile can make or break a look no matter what someone is wearing. That’s why Jacqueline works a lot of what she wears-she always looks genuinely happy and flashes a warm smile! Gauri looks IMO either bored and/or sad in this picture!

  1. Very made up face. Extremely thin eyebrows, slapped cakey makeup, even her eyes and eye makeup seem so made-up.. somehow I don’t like the vibe that I’m getting from her face. Looks like a wax figure.

  2. I am not much of a sari-gown person but I think Gauri carries them off well. I also like that she doesn’t bling out….she lets her super bod do all the talking! I think the slightly touseled looks good.

    • I heard that they have injections for skin lightening. I don’t think anyone except a supermodel can carry off this dress. It’s very unflattering.

    • I think staying indoors more often, the winter season, plus all the lighting and camera flash can contribute to the look of a lighter complexion. I am giving the benefit of the doubt since I used to be tan and now am really pale from staying indoors most of the time. No matter what her skin color, I think this gown is beautiful on her.
(Why are we so obsessed with skin color anyway? Depending on the season, we all get lighter and darker, right?)

  3. Doesn’t matter what she wears, that hair, the oily face, overall she always turns out looking fake and too made up. The saree gown actually looks nice on the model.

  4. She looks pretty. This is one of her better looks. Hairstyle is quite appropriate actually. Love her choice of jewelry, it’s understated, elevating the saree gown.
