Wearing a Monisha Jaising kurta with leather pants and boots and a Vuitton tote, Gauri helped inaugurate a real estate expo in the capital. I started off feeling sorta ok about the pairing of the cotton kurta and the pants but the open zippers at the ankle and the exposed boots is where this look got so disjointed, there was nothing remaining to like.
We know Ms. Khan loves her Jaising kurtas but this need to wear them with anything and everything needs a bit re-thinking.

So haphazard…did not sync with the event in question. Who paid cotton kurta with pair of leather pants….Gauri of coz ( eye roll).
This lady has sooo much potential, but I don’t understand why she dresses up like this…
Does she have a stylist ? I am c curious ,..
Guess what, I really DIG this look! I think the Kurta worn with the leather pants really makes it her own style. She IS owning the look. And after all those horrendous figure clenching(yeah,they clench the figure, not just hug!) gowns, this looks breezy yet individualist stylish..also,weather appropriate for once..Leather pants, boots in Delhi winter..Ok methinks.
I kinda like this look, with the exception of the shoes. Pointy 5 inch heels would have looked better.

Well if the zippers at the bottom weren’t open, the pants wouldn’t fit over the boots would they? It’s a different matter that she shouldn’t be wearing those boots with that kurta.
She will never learn…will she?
Aside from the boots, I like it. Remember guys, she’s at an expo , not a red carpet event. I like that she’s kept it real and pretty individualistic.
I find it quite alright actually 🙂
For once liking leather pants coz they’re made less severe with a kurta.
her sense of style is quite dated.. leather pants and ankle length shoes..she hasn’t evolved over the years..
