In Falguni and Shane Peacock

At the Ambani-Merchant engagement party, Gauri was seen in a Falguni and Shane Peacock gown paired with a Paco Rabanne chain mail bag. I don’t really like the gown but somehow Gauri was pulling it off. Odd bag choice though. I didn’t think it worked with the gown. Your thoughts?

Chest area is off and looks too wide /disproportionate. Needed a bit more cinching in there.
That’s a kilo of glitter or more but more than that it’s the huge bra like design that’s way worse. Gauri looks fine dress is somewhat overkill.
Also what’s with Aryans clean waxed bare chest. He looks hot otherwise
Oh wow, she looks AMAZING! Its a beautiful dress and she pulls it off well with great jewels and makeup. I didnt mind the bag at all..
Gauri’s bust looks huge in this outfit. Her make up and hair for sure has improved a lot. And Aryan Khan has zero star appeal, so even if his pics are cropped out, we are not losing out.
Why such a mean comment? Speak for yourself. Some of us would like to see Aryan. I think he looks adorable and cleans up pretty well.
Lot of difference between looking adorable and having star appeal.
How is he a star? He is not. He is a star’s son and as far as I know, he has no aspirations to become a movie star.
And even if he ends up in that place, I think he will do just fine what with the changing definition of a star. Aren’t we all glad that kids here onwards do not have to carry the burden of previous generations definition of star appeal. He is appealing just fine to what will be his audience. 🙂

She looked good bar the bust line..it looked odd and disproportionate…
This outfit is so disproportionate on her , it’s making her look so big & we know she’s very thin . The bra like bust area is also not doing her any favors . I wish she wore a saree instead .
The dress is gorgeous but isn’t it something you should be wearing at your own engagement?
Is it mandatory to wear lehengas for high profile wedding? There will be no or very minimal difference between those designer lehengas. All are looking similar to me. You can wear sarees. Moreover every state of India has colourful and vibrant sarees for each occasion.
If they start wearing sarees and textiles from different parts of our country, how will the MMs, AJSKs, and the lot survive?
The outfit is too sparkly, but Gauri’s makes it work. Her makeup and hair is spot on.

She is kinda making it work despite the gown being too blingy. Agree about the fit issues around the bust though. The bag is an eyesore – doesn’t complement the look.
That is too much blingfest for my taste. Gauri still goes overboard with her wedding guest outfits.
