Wearing an Alexandre Vauthier velvet gown, Gauri attended Apoorva’s birthday party on Thursday evening. Gauri loves her Vauthier plunge gowns and like her other appearance, modified this one as well to not be as such. In doing that though, she takes away the element that makes the gown fun.
Her make-up here also was bad.

That’s a beautiful gown. She looks really nice. One of the best dressed at the event.
The only bits that I didn’t like were the heavy make-up and the lopsided modesty clip.
I totally agree. She’s got some strange classy vibe to her however she’s chosen to dress, added most if herself to it. This outing is a good example, despite the pin tuck it’s hardly noticeable or spoiler
Make up is really heavy handed and the gown is a strange fit with the lopsided buckle, not working at all!
I was just looking at her archives and noticed that she really likes these sort of V necklines with a deep cut but not too revealing either….Looks great on her but the make is not good
I love Gauri for the person she is, strong and impactful. But she is a lost cause when it comes to dressing up. Hair color, eyebrows, makeup, clothes – everything always looks either dated or OTT. She is so beautiful. Wish she chose looks that did justice to her beauty.

Her dress sense is very weird. It often gives a very Tree kind of structure with a wide shoulder and tapering bottom, and an unnecessary harshness vibe overall. Such a pretty lady, the choices of (the over thought out outfits) totally do disservice.
