From LIFW: Digvijay Singh for Bhusattva

We really enjoyed Digvijay’s collection especially since it followed Abdul’s. The simplicity of his clothes really stood out. Really enjoyed the cottons, textured sleeves, angrakha-style tops and interesting hemlines.

P.S. It was funny how the crowd seemingly came alive once Vivek took to the runway.

  1. Nice, very wearable collection.

Like the music for Vivek’s walk, and his smile. But I still don’t get actors walking the ramp. The point about the clothes is lost. The reason that west does not take Indian fashion weeks seriously. Well, this is the way to attract the Indian market.

  2. This was a great show, from what it seems. Honestly, though, Vivi looks a more than slightly uncomfortable. :-/

Anyways, what’s the music on the first video? So good!

  3. Are there any visible trends that you can see in this fashion week? Or does that not happen in India?

Btw i like what Vivek is wearing until he turns around and you can see something on that back which just looks like a lot of fabric bunched up and hanging down. It might be the video..or something.

  4. Wow he is talking to people sitting in the front row while he’s walking! I know people who have better walks from their bed to the bathroom early in the morning! This was really awkward.
