In Alexander McQueen

It’s been a busy day for Freida. Earlier in the day, she attended a press conference wearing Narciso, then quickly changed into a Resort 2011 Alexander McQueen dress for the premiere of her movie ‘You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger’.

Even though I love the curls, but because the neckline of the dress is detailed, I do wish Freida had gone with a pony-tail and also picked non-satiny footwear to offset the satin dress. The look then would’ve been a perfect 10 for me. She completes her look with an Alexander McQueen clutch.

P.S. As I lay out the runway and first pics of her, I realize that completely unintentionally, it (the pics) makes the model look like she’s thinking, ‘how dare you wear the same dress’. 😛

  1. Interestingly enough she is wearing the same pair of (gorgeous) shoes to both the press conference and premiere 🙂 I can see the point about the satin-on-satin, but I still think she looks absolutely lovely!

  2. The hair may be covering her dress detail, but theres no denying that she looks absolutely stunning! she seems to be oozing confidence. And I don’t think we’ve seen this hair style on her before. I love it.

  4. She looks great when you look at her for a split second, but once you actually take it all in I really am not loving this look at all!

Her hair looks strange in the closeup – it does nothing for her face at all .. it’s just strange and it’s covering the entire top part of this dress which in itself has a lot going on so I agree, an up-do was in order! And her shoes just don’t make sense here.

    Who knows. Who knows.

  5. Agree with ur comment that pulling the hair back would have showed off the dress better.. BUt.. she is looking soo.. good, she’s glowing and i love her hair. Wish her shoes were different though.. uptill now, her track record for her shoes has been fab

  6. Noooo Payal and Priyanka! I completely DISAGREE with you guys!

this looks IS a perfect 10. Curls bring out the playfulness of her self and give the dress a very youthful vibe. I think a pony would have suited a much older woman and woyld have made Freida look wayyyy too severe.

Curls rock as always! Her curls look so natural. I am loving the look and freida head to toe!!

  7. My opinion seems to differ from most people here, but I really dislike the look. I think the hair is messy without being messy chic, especially the left side- it looks really amateur.

I love love love the dress, and the shoes are passable.

I think Ms. Pinto has done better.
