Day And Night

Day two of the Cannes Festival saw Freida first walk down the red carpet in a lime green Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high split. Later at night for L’Oreal’s bash, it was a white Paco Rabanne ( by Manish Arora) dress featuring a chain-link underlay . The gown and dress were fantastic picks and she looked gorgeous in both, but anyone else feel that the satin pumps with the gown wasn’t the best pick?

  1. I immediately liked the second outfit (the white/bronze one) way better than the first on Freida. The Versace looks a tad forced somehow and perhaps a better, more uplifting bra would have helped make it look better? Don’t know not liking it much.

  2. She is a class act. OMG she is a stunning beauty and falls under western beauty. She knows how to carry herself instead of being a poser. The green is awesome. Some low class sites were ridiculing her style sense at the cannes even one article from HT.

    • “she…falls under western beauty”??? You are also implying she is not being a poser, by virtue of her western-ess!!!
Can we just please focus on how good she looks without making ignorant classifications?

  6. Is everyone wearing a dress with a slit gonna stick their leg out now?!! It looked stupid on Angelina & so does on all the copy cats !!

    • Everyone ALWAYS stuck their leg out when wearing dresses with heels.. it’s just that Angelina did it so awkwardly to the point where she was doing a half squat. The other girls are not copying Angelina they are just doing the classic pose right.

  7. Love the Paco Rabanne dress. It is so sad that Arora and the house have parted ways especially when he was just beginning to inject his creative genius into the line.

  8. The make up is so perfect….She looks fab in both the outfits, green is sure my favorite though. Any clues on how to get this make up?

  9. The first dress works on the basis of the colour. And her makeup is lovely.

The second one is stunning though I’m not keen on the bottom front openings.

  12. I guess the problem with the green gown on freida is dat she has a short torso which doesnt do justice to the gown. However it looks awesome on the model. of bollywood stars my guess is Shilpa would have rocked it with her amazing torso.

    • Exactly my thought, I love Freido because she always looks good without trying hard but the green one does her no justice, just not made for a short person but she looks divine in the white!

    • You said it! Love the green gown on the model. It looks fantastic on her. The lovely gown is wasted on Freida. And hell frickin yeah,it will look fabulous on Shilpa’s bod.
