The Cannes Film festival is underway and Esha was the first to ben seen on the red carpet at the opening ceremony wearing a chiffon gown from Nicolas Jebran. The hip-high slit was unnecessary here given the sheer floral detail on the bust. I also felt the color of the gown was underwhelming.

Not a fan of this split no matter who does it
She’s still selling it somehow!
The slight is major turn off. That’s not classy. It looks vulgar.
Call me prude but slit right uptil pelvic looks vulgar for a red carpet event. Looks like a beach/ pool coverup. Like the upper part of the gown.
You either “go low” or you “go high”. Plunging necklines and thigh high (in this case crotch high) slits look vulgar when done together.
She does look lovely in the second picture.
Its a very risque gown but love the feminine touches (color, flowy gown and bust detail). Love it on her, she pulls it off!
She looks so international especially with the make up and hair being so soft brown toned. What is that horrible outfit though.
Waist high slit gowns are cheap.

It’s a missed opportunity. She should have worn something that highlighted her hour glass figure because that’s one of her best attributes.
Looks like romantic night wear meant for bedroom but not for out in the open.
I can see her crotch and that’s just cringe. Sorry I can’t appreciate no matter how prudish and non-international(is that even a word?) I sound!
i seriously don’t know when women’s clothes became so exploitative — the wet look, cut-outs everywhere, slits up to the high heavens.
i don’t think of myself as a prude and think women are sexy no matter their shape and attire — but this trend is seriously disturbing. and don’t give me BS about women taking charge of their bodies, coz if you look deep enough, the designers of this trend are often men, and so are the voyeurs.
Such a good point! Women joining the women destruction once again, however differently. The whole fashion scene is a strip off in recent times.
