In Shivan & Narresh

Cointreau ambassador, Dita von Teese is in India and is being dressed by designers Shivan & Narresh. So far, she’s sported three looks, all in black. Got a favorite? It’s a toss-up between the belted sari in the middle and the one on the right for us.

  1. love the lace sari on her and the fact that she can wear indian looks that are still ‘her’ and not disrespect or make a foolery of the tradition. I wish she was wearing more than a strapless bra though She looks better than some of the everyday starlets trying to look ‘modern’ in saris.

  2. I like the lace saree look….yep even ‘barely holding the girls blouse’ is looking good. Designers Shivan & Naresh have done a good job balancing the indo-western look on Dita…very tasteful.

  3. I would have said the first look is Perfect if only her chest was not showing like that. It just doesnt fit with a (elegant) saree.
But overall, the second one is pretty ok.

  4. She looks fab in all the looks!! She is carrying all the outfits off well and looks chic, compact and deadly! Thank god she went to Shivan & Narresh instead of (god forbit) Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla…they would have dressed her in head to toe clashing, assymetrical, round, diagnonal gota, lol!

  5. She looks exquisite, the sarees/gowns are totally in keeping with her 40s style, diamonds may have looked better than the tikka kundan jewellery on the first saree, but shes making me want to run out and get a lace saree! This women can carry off anything.

  6. Hard to beleive this is Shivan Narressh, I hate their inane color block stuff….

But the 3 looks on Dita are inspired…never thought lace n kundan would go so well together….
