Diana attended the Chopard Dinner on Friday evening wearing a gold fringe dress and thigh-high boots, both by Celia Kritharioti. The combo sure made for something different but can’t say I liked it. Maybe a different pair of boots would have me singing a different tune.

And here we were expecting Ms. Penty to bring high fashion to the RC.! But she brings the bollywood bonanza with her to the Cannes
I thought Ms Penty would class up the Indian contingent at Cannes…but looks like even she is a victim of competitive tackiness.

So Diana, the one person I had counted on not to make a fool of herself at Cannes……has gone ahead and made a fool of herself at Cannes. There’s no need to showcase ‘a trend’, this is the time to take out your classic, dreamy gowns like Aishwarya does. Or look at Elle Fanning this year. That entire outfit conveys nothing of Diana’s personality or beauty.
I really like it. Hair, makeup are on point. Boots like that are begging for legs like hers. On anyone else or at a less fancy party, they would look too much. I also love how she does the casual-nonchanlance-supermodel pose without looking like an angry, leaning tower of Pisa (Kangana please take notes)..
She looks glamorous. Not being able to like the boots much….I’m trying!
Though we have seen every possible version of this dress, she is making it work. It looks subtle and fun. And certainly better than all those trailing gown. Loved it.
I think she looks great. The dress fits her very well.
The boots give the edge it required..that too without overloading the look with multiple accessories…without them it was just yet another dress..
I love her but this looks like she is going to break into a dance at any moment ! I think I have seen Kriti sanon or someone wear this and dance in some famous Hindi song !!

Bad footwear… diana can do so much better. Even the dress is meh. Sonakshi wore similar 1 in a film song. Is she there as a model? Cant see any jewels on her. Her fiance is a diamond merchant.

Love the dress….boots might have worked if they were less blingy and say darker gold suede/velvet to give it some oomph!
The big letdown is the hair and makeup….a sharp angled cat eye with a dark oxblood lip colour to go with dark boots and hair up in a somewhat messy sex romp look would have done wonders!
Ms Penty is like Dia Mirza as they both play it so safe all the time; both are beautiful women who need just the va-va voom factor to play it up.
I think she looks beautiful…the dress and her pose give an air of a delicate jewel. The Chopard in the background and gold tone elevate the look. She looks very nice!
