In Abraham & Thakore

Wearing a sari-inspired jumpsuit from Abraham & Thakore with jewellery from Apala, Diana attended promotions for Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi on Thursday. Part of me wishes she’d worn her hair in a braid but she looked good nevertheless.

  1. Take a one-piece pant-suit and drape a dupatta over it — and call it a sari-inspired jumpsuit! Am surprised to see this from A&T.

    • Actually, this chintz print is very old and has also appeared on the cover of the book, The Fabric of India by Rosemary Crill. A wall hanging featuring it that has embroidery as well was part of the V&A Fabric of India exhibition.

    • To be fair though, the Rheson ones were super ugly because the legs were shortened into these wide culottes. This at least being full length has a better silhouette. Those just looked stupid.
