Those pants look like they shrunk after the first wash.
Diana as almost always looks lovely. But I really don’t get this cropped bottoms trend. How much more lovely would it look if she had full length wide leg trousers with this suit? I don’t undestand why indian designers do this long length top with cropped trousers – it suits almost nobody!
Putting up my hand as a short person. Cropped pants with a reasonable width don’t cut down my size further unlike wide bottom floor sweeping palazzos.
Most Indian women are not very tall and not size 0 so churidar (not tights) works best imo but for comfort a cropped palazzo is also OK. Further not going to pick up dirt off streets:)
Just for my understanding – is the palazzo length intentional ? Or is it the case of bad sizing,?
On the contrary, as a woman on the curvier side I actually feel churidars only suit tall and skinny people lol. They look so awkward on me. I feel Patialas suit everyone.
I feel it looks lovely on tall people, my sister has a collection of these and she pulls them off gorgeously. Just because it doesn’t you doesn’t mean it don’t suit no one!
Yes…tis wud have worked with palazzo or churidar …the cropped pants take away th elegance of the kurti …seems tad casual

There are so many different ways to wear Indian clothing and somehow all Bollywood actors literally look the same every time…here’s hoping for some novelty and authenticity.
