At The Met Gala

Demi Moore and Ciara stepped out in Prabal Gurung gowns at the Met Gala whereas, for Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann, it was her grandmother Ingrid Bergman’s gown that she wore which was restored and re-worked by Mr. Gurung (see the ‘Before’ here) for the Gala.

Of the three ladies, have a favorite on the red carpet? Just for the history behind it, an automatic favorite of ours is Elettra.

  1. how could she have done that to such a stunning dress? ugh. how could any designer agree to do such a thing?! i saw this dress couple of days back on tumblr and i thought nice picture, average dress.
i dont care if ingrid bergman was her grandmother. she had no right. it looks horrible.
oh and so do the other feathery ladies. whats with the hat?!!

  2. You had me until the “Bergman’s gown that was restored” part. Honestly the re-working of Elettra’s gown is a perfect example of a good thing ruined.Vegas runaway bride is what comes to mind.

The other 2 gowns are decadent with detail. Very nice.

  3. yup!! the original gown was a million times more beautiful than this one!! reminds me of Genelia in a black and a white dress like this and what a disaster it was!!
