Déjà Vu

When I had seen Koena earlier this month at the Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt finals, I knew there was something familiar about the dress but just couldn’t put my finger on it… but now I know, the colors totally reminded me of this dress from Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2006 ready to wear collection!

On paper, Koena’s dress should have worked, the colors are beautiful, but they just don’t! Maybe it has to do with her inability at carrying off the dress? For now though, I just prefer the way model Valentina Zelyaeva wears hers on the runway! Fierce.

  1. i dont think this one can be termed as copying but…

but yes, the model seems to pull it off better. i just wish someone else could have worn that dress…coz i rkn it would look awesome!

  2. P and P can I tell you guys something really funny I live in Dubai and picked up the newest Masala magazine. It has the pic of Koena in the dress and I think is voted as the best dressed. I have noticed this a couple of times, Kanaga’s jeans outfit at Jodha- Akbar, got their thumsup and most funny of all Kajols latest misadventure of strappless- shapeless dress on churidar -disaster was called the best and most innovative fashion sense in the country!!! I was laughing so loudly at the news stand browsing this magazine. Check it out if you can.

  3. Regardless of how bad she looks, I actually really like the dress she is wearing. It’s something that a lot more women would feel comfortable wearing and yet look amazing then roberto cavalli’s design. I find it to have bit more shape to it, makes you looks sensuous. I think it’s gorgeous , I don’t have 2 worry about my boob slipping out the side 2 say hello to the world:P I just wish I knew who the designer was, because I am actually considering purchasing it. If any1 knows who made it, please post the name here.
