Deepika visited a TV shot for promotions of Padmavati on Thursday wearing a striped gold sari by Raw Mango and jewellery from Tanishq. Loved everything about the look and if that drape was just an inch higher, I would literally be swooning.
It didn’t bother me as much with Kajol‘s because in her case, the necklace had my attention more but here considering everything else was so on point, wish the drape was as well.

Sadly, yes.
The sheen and vertical stripes of the blouse really pull your eyes towards it/the. eventhough the fabric is the same as the sari.

The one boob out drape is another thing that takes away the elegance from the look.

why? why must one of the girls be exposed when wearing a saree? i don’t get this one boob drape trend that refuses to go away. makes everything look tacky no matter how covered up the blouse may be.

With the exception drape she looks lovely. Not too crazy about pumps with sarees either.
The blouse has some issues. Especially when you are doing a one-boob-out-look (Is it even called that? ).
The last before pic is in poor taste.i can understand one boob show with a Manish Malhotra chammak challo sari but why with this.!

There are photos on other sites where she has draped the sari the proper way. I think she was asked to drape the sari lower so that the necklace was visible. Isn’t she the spokesperson for Tanishq? She is gorgeous
I think she’s looking pretty perfect. I have no problem with the drape because she’s so svelte and the colour of the saree is so subtle that nothing is looking tacky.
That one boob out drape makes me want to reach out and straighten it out right now…

How does that jewelry not sway while bending down/dancing or etc? Or does this problem play out with us mortals.
This look is somewhat of a miss not just because of the drape and silver pumps that have been paired with the sari but also because the sari makes DP look thinner than she is and not in a good way too! Who knew DP can look just a-ok in a Raw Mango sari?!!!!
